Laos Holiday Package: Beginning your travel in Laos with an exciting sightseeing tour around the charming and beautiful Vientiane Capital. Then take a flight to the traditional city Luang Prabang to enjoy its delightful tranquility. Being fulfilled with another wonderful sightseeing tour in Luang Prabang and an enjoyable exploration on top of Mount Phousi.

A boat journey on Mekong river will take you to discover the mysterious Pak Ou Caves which has thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues. Kuang Si waterfall will be your next destination before you finish your Laos tour with a visit to local villages to find out their lifestyle.

Day 1: Arrival – Vientiane (Nil)

On arrival at the Vientiane Capital, you will be met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. Vientiane is a charming and fascinating capital, with an interesting mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, and American influences. After a short rest, we start visiting the major sights of the capital; including the Wat Si Saket, the oldest temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. En route to Laos’ national precious heritage, the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, you will have the opportunity to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxai Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 2: Vientiane – Luang Prabang & Tour

Meals: 1 Breakfast

After breakfast, then transfer to airport for departure to Luang Prabang, Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. After a short rest, we visit The National Museum (closed on Tuesday) at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign and the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai. We then ascent up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore the Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by the local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves – Kuang Si Water Fall

Meals: 1 Breakfast

AM: After breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the small village of Ban Xang Hai, where the local rice wine is distilled. We return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon.

PM: We continue our excursion toward Kuang Si Waterfall, en route, we visit local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Village, Ban Ou, Lao Loum Village and Ban Thapene, Khmu Village, then drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall where you can splash around in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails. The Kuang Si Waterfall setting really illustrates paradise. We return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon and continue to Ban Xang Khong, a village that is well-known for hand weaving silk and for traditional Saa Paper making. We return to the city by late evening to observe the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Departure

Meals: 1 Breakfast

Depending on your flight, you may have time at leisure before being transferred to the airport in time for your departing flight. End of the tour!
