The Management Board has the authority to cancel all cruises to guarantee the safety of tourists. In the case where a planned and paid for cruise is cancelled the following policies will be applied:
- If the cancellation of permission by the board is decided before you leave from Hanoi to Halong Bay (you have not used any service yet): 100% refund.
- If the cancellation is decided during the trip (you have already used some services: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): Only the fee of these services will be charged and we will refund the remaining amount.
- If the trip is cut down from 3 days/2 nights to 2 days/1 night, we will charge as a 2 day/1 night trip, plus any additional services you have already used. We will then refund the remaining amount.
Please note: The cancellation is announced ONLY by the Management Board of Halong Bay and often it is on a very short notice. Therefore your understanding and cooperation during any possible cancellation is highly appreciated The period from May to July is considered to be peak storm weather in Halong Bay. Many unpredictable weather conditions tend to cause more cruise cancellations on short notice during this season.
